The Carmen Maxi Skirt
With this tutorial, we offer a sewing pattern for a long skirt made of 3 gathered panels. Very easy to sew and with a lovely effect!
You can play with fabrics: fine cotton, viscose, lightweight silk, etc., plain or patterned, and customize the elastic waistband: lurex, braided leather, colorful elastic, etc.
You will never get tired of making this long skirt pattern and wearing this flattering and feminine piece in different variations.
The tutorial is available in sizes 34 to 52. To know which size to sew, please refer to the size guide.

Prerequisite: straight stitching
Making time: 1h–1h30
Supplies:
2 m of fabric (140 cm width) for XS to M, and 2.85 m for L to XXL. Recommended fabrics: cotton canvas, batiste, Liberty® fabric, plumeti, poplin, broderie anglaise, viscose, silk chiffon, etc.
One spool of matching thread
1 m of elastic band, 4–5 cm wide
Note: Seam allowances are included in the pattern measurements.
