Ema is a high-waisted pair of shorts, featuring two slanted hip pockets and two back darts for a perfect waist fit.
It is closed by a zipper and a hook at the waistband.
This piece is ideal for autumn and early winter! But you can also create spring-ready versions using lighter fabrics.

Recommended fabrics
The sample shorts are made in a Jacquard, but many other materials are suitable such as chambray jacquard, wool, or cotton, depending on your style and the season!
Fabrics
- 1m of 140cm wide fabric
- 25 cm x 1 m of fabric for pocket facings and pocket bags (lightweight cotton, poplin, satin…)
Supplies
- 15 cm visible zipper
- One waistband hook-and-bar closure (approx. 2 cm)
