9 stunning dresses to sew for Holiday parties

I don't think I will have time to sew a Holiday dress this season but I can certainly dream and plan in my head... Maybe some of you will find some inspiration in this list of sewing patterns and be able to make a stunning holiday dress for yourself!
There are even some FREE patterns on this list! Enjoy!

1. Simplicity S9820. This pattern has glam and elegance and I wish Sweden wasn't so cold... if you're going to a party where you know it won't be too cold you could definitely consider this pattern. It has a kind of shrug you can make to match the dress which might be ok for some places but here in Stockholm it wouldn't be enough sadly... I still want to share this one with you though, because I know my readers are all over the world.
PS. it's on sale ar $4.99 right now at the time of writing this! 🥳

2. Atlas wrap dress from Sewing Patterns by Masin. This is just gorgeous! I love the Atlas in a silky, shiny fabric for a festive look. I love the green color she used for her sample here. Find the Atlas pattern here

3. The Dasha dress from Lenaline Patterns. This was a new find for me. It's a Belgian pattern designer and the sizing is not great but the design is cute so I thought I would share it anyways. You can find the pattern here

4. The Magnolia Dress from Deer and Doe (now owned by Closet Core Patterns). This one is a classic and it recently got a size upgrade after the Closet Core team took over the Deer and Doe pattern collection. I love both versions (haven't made one yet but probably will some day).

5. The Aura Dress from Papercut Patterns. The sleeve and the waist tie - love it!
You can find the pattern here.
