Description
Isalys is the quick and easy-to-make cardigan especially drafted for knit fabrics. With its simple design, it requires a low amount of fabric.
Feel free to wear open or not, as a cardigan with a front opening or as a jumper with a back opening.
Two lengths are available, a crop (as in the picture) or a longer one.
Isalys suits beginners and is perfect for a first knit fabric project!

Recommended fabrics
The sample cardigan is made in a jersey, but you could use many other knits, such as sweater knits, cable sweater knits, viscose jersey, rib knits, jacquard knits…
Fabrics
- 1,20m of 140cm wide knit fabric (crop version) ; 1,40m for sizes 42 and above.
OR
- 1,40m of 140cm wide knit fabric (long version) ; 1,60m for sizes 42 and above.
Supplies
- 6 buttons about 1cm diameter
- 1m twill tape (to finish the neckline)
- If your knit fabric is very supple you might consider applying some seam tape interfacing at the seamlines.
