Description

Ellie is a blouse featuring an under-bust seam that is finished with a gathered peplum.

The front and back bodice, as well as the cuffs, are detailed with pintucks. You can also make the blouse without the pleats. It has short, puffed sleeves finished with a fitted cuff.

Ellie fastens at the centre back with a button and a loop at the keyhole opening.

Recommended fabrics

I made my blouse in cotton dobby, but for this design you can use many different fabrics, such as washed cotton, poplin, chambray, linen, broderie anglaise… The important thing is to choose a fabric that isn’t slippery, so you can make the pintucks without difficulty.
